Natural or synthetic?
On this occasion, we will take a walk through the roll-up concealment section for fences and enclosures in gardens and terraces.

- Heather: Heather is usually the most popular choice for cladding an enclosure and there are several types; from less dense to more dense, there are also combined with wicker or geotextile mesh in between to offer a degree of concealment of 100%. Heather offers a rustic and natural finish to the garden or terrace. Some drawbacks of this type of material is that insects usually like to nest in them, can catch fire easily so we must be careful when barbecuing.

- Wicker: El mimbre es un tejido de fibras o ramas de árboles de la familia de los sauces. Usualmente, se presentan en formatos de rollos a elegir entre varias alturas y anchos, al igual que el resto de cerramientos en rollos. Este tejido de varillas suele ser un clásico en el jardín o la terraza con fines decorativos. Para dar mayor ocultación, será necesario colocar una malla por la parte posterior y dejar unas de las caras ocultas. Hay quienes realizan un ?sandwich? colocando mimbre ? malla ? mimbre para que se vea este material de ambos lados, el que da a la calle y el que da al jardín o terraza.

- Canizo: Las pequeñas cañas vegetales que forman el tejido de cañizo para ocultación, ofrecen una ocultación de color claro de nuestros cerramientos. Es muy común ver en zonas de playa y ofrece un grado de ocultación alto. Su precio es muy económico y está disponible en varios tamaños. Por otro lado, debemos mencionar que es algo frágil y quebradizo, por lo que hay que tener cuidado al colocarlo y no es recomendable en zonas con vientos muy fuertes.

- Bamboo: Its tropical origin from the Asian region, bamboo has "slipped" among the various materials for decorating and cladding fences and enclosures. Its degree of concealment is very low and it is usually used for purely decorative purposes. We can see it in screens, in railings of terraces or swimming pools, in terraces of restaurants or in other rooms.

- Tissue fern: Al igual que con el bambú, el rollo tejido de helecho, ofrece un revestimiento compuesto por varillas de estas fibras o ramas tropicales para decorar cerramientos, vallas o barandillas. Su aspecto barnizado ofrece calidez y acabado rústico no solo a vallados, sino también a paredes o decorados florales. Su grado de ocultación es bajo, por lo que deberá colocarse una malla posterior para lograr mayor ocultación.

- Woven Pine Bark: Una de las novedades de los últimos tiempos cuando nos referimos a la ocultación de vallados y cercados. Los rollos de corteza de pino suelen ir muy bien desde el suelo o sobre múrete revestidos de piedras naturales de pizarra o musgo. Su grado de ocultación es elevado, aunque pueden existir pequeñas aberturas entre las tiras.
